Ryan is a documentarian and multimedia artist
whose works span many mediums, from photography to audio to film to
public performance. Ryan believes that art is a way of living and that
process is as important as product.
Many of the works here were collaborations with
other artists who are pursuing similar questions. Ryan has also made
work for NOVA, the PBS science documentary series, and StoryCorps, the
NPR oral history project.
